Hoy presento una tarjeta de cumpleaños (birthday card) con estilo "Vintage/Shabby Chic"... y con brillo también, me encanta el brillo y siempre que puedo uso Stickles.
Today I show you a birthday card with vintage/shabby chic style.. also with glitter, I love GLITTER, bling, sparkling and when I can I use Stickles.
En días pasados mi hija me pidio que le hiciera una tarjeta a su abuela paterna. Tantas tarjetas que he creado y esta fue un verdadero reto pues la señora siempre me cuido mis hijos cuando yo trabajaba, vivíamos una al frente de la otra asi que mis hijos crecieron con su abuelita que siempre estaba disponible para dar cariño. Ella se distingue por eso super cariñosa, amable, servicial y siempre ha sido bien especial para sus hijos y nietos... bueno ya tiene 3 biznietas.
On last days my daughter tell me about if I can do a card for your grandmother. At many cards that I created and with this card I feel have a real challenge because that lady take care with my childeren when I was working, we lived near and my children have time to enjoy days and bring each other lovely days with her grandmother.
Regresando a la tarjeta y el pedido de mi hija, ella solo dijo quiero que hagas una tarjeta para abuela Rosa, así que mi mente comenzo a dar vueltas de como seria la tarjeta, conseguí papeles de Grace Taylor Design "Miss Polly" y me puse a inventar.
Returning to card.. my daughter she only tell me make a card to my grandmother "Rosa" and with that around my mind and how I can do the card, I found Grace Taylor Design Paper "Miss Polly" and start to create.

Tarjeta de Cumpleaños
~Birthday CARD~
Coloree con lápiz color de rosa (Portfolio Colored Pencils) ciertas partes del vestido y también en la cara para maquillarla un poco. Al cinturón del traje ademas de color le di toques de Stickles (Stardust).
Colored with a pink pencil from Portfolio Colored Pencils, some dress details and some thing of her face to look that she make up. Also to the wait dress some touch of stickles (Stardust)
Y este fue el resultado.
And finally that is the finish card.
Use un ponchador de border de EK Sucess, y le aplique brillo con Stickles (Stardust), la puntilla (lace) es de Amercian Craft, le aplique azahares a las flores del border punch.
I used a EK Sucess Border Punch, add glitter with Stickles (Stardust), the lace is from American Craft and some detail call "Azahares" (like little pearls) to the flowers from border punch.
Otro reto de esta tarjeta fue que a mi hija le gusto un verso que vio en una tarjeta y me dijo que ese era el que llevara la tarjeta... así lo hice. Esta vez fue un verso mas largo y tenia que ir en ambos lados de la tarjeta por dentro.
Another challenge for me when my daughter tell me she like a message from a card she see on a card from a store. She tell me she want that mesage inside the card.
Luego (no tengo fotos para enseñar) le aplique Glossy Accents y brillo con Stickles (Stardust) a las flores que lleva por dentro la tarjeta y a la flor pequeña al frente de la tarjeta en el área donde dice para quien es.
Adicional le hice el sobre y en la parte de atras le aplique un borde usando el borde punch de EK Sucess usando el cardstock de Bazzill en color Kraft. (no foto, lo siento)
I don't have photos to show you that I add Glossy Accents and stickles to the little flowers from the design paper (inside and a little one outside). Also I made a envelope to this card but sorry I can not take a picture to show you.. I add a border punch - EK Sucess.
Card Details:
White Cardstock (at Walmart), Bazzill Kraft, Grace Taylor "Miss Polly" - Grant Studios, Beige, Stickles (Stardust), Border Punch - Martha Stewart, Crochet Lace - American Crafts, Azahares, Scallop Stamp (I think is from Studio G).
Finalmente cuando la vio le gusto y me cuenta que a su abuela le gusto mucho. La imagen algo joven pues la señora cumplió 77 años pero tengo que decir que desde que conozco a esta señora quien es la abuela de mis hijos ella siempre se ve igual, el tiempo no pasa en ella.. bueno esa es mi observación.
Finally my daughter like a lot the birthday card and when her grandmother look the card she liked too. The image is a young lady but her grandmother have her 77 years but I remember that this lady look like the first time I know her.... but it is my personal opinion.
